Overview

The AM-PC01-Coax is one Ethernet Extender PoE Converter designed to send and extend Ethernet network with PoE. It can extend up to 500 meters long distance by using existing cables like as cate6 / coaxial cable / or any 2-wire cables (elevator accompanying cable, UTP cable, telephone line, antenna cable, or bell wire). It works at 10/100Mbps transmission rate. The product is fully compliant with IEEE802.3af/at – Mode A  and works well with any PoE switch or PoE injector.

Main Features

• Extend PoE power up to 500m and Ethernet signal up to 1000m over Coaxial or 2-Wire twisted pair.
• Provides pass-through PoE up to 802.3af/at standard, Max. 30W
• Support multicast function
• Optional support RS485 transparent transmission, support Modbus protocol
• Transparent transmission, no need for software adjustment, no need to change the upper layer software
• Built-in ESD protection circuit, effectively prevent electrostatic damage
• Transmission distance up to 2000 meters (75-5 coaxial line)
• The maximum physical layer rate is 500Mbps
• Low power consumption, strong anti-interference ability
• Supports high power PoE to PTZ cameras at long distances
• Optional external AC to DC power adapter 52V/1.25A (65W)
• Used in Pair (Master & Slave, or PD & PSE)

There are three types of interface:

• 5.08mm TP 2P terminal over 2-Wire
• BNC over coaxial cable
• Copper RJ45 over normal cate5/6 cable
